Introducing the M5Stack Core2 V1.1, featuring a 2.0-inch capacitive touch screen. The three dots on the screen are essential for the touch interface. Users can program these zones to create three virtual buttons, enhancing human-machine interactions. Additionally, the M5Stack Core2 V1.1 includes a built-in vibration motor for haptic feedback and alerts.

This version comes with an integrated Real-Time Clock (RTC) module powered by a dedicated battery for accurate timekeeping. The AXP2101 power management chip efficiently controls power consumption. The device features a blue power indicator that can signal various functions depending on user applications. It also includes a MicroSD card slot, a speaker, and a high-quality I2S audio amplifier. The rear expansion board has a 6-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) sensor and a microphone, broadening its functional applications.

USB Driver for M5Stack Core2 V1.1

Prior to usage, visit the download page to obtain the USB driver suitable for your operating system. Note that M5Stack Core2 features two versions with the CH9102F A USB chip, enabling the installation of compatible drivers (CH9102) for proper operation of both IC versions.

Power Management

Power Operations:
To power on, press the left button once.
To turn off, hold the left button for 4 seconds.
Use the RST button at the bottom for a reset.

Module Expansion and Compatibility

When stacking with M5 modules, remove the battery at the bottom of the M5Stack Core2 V1.1. If retaining I2S microphone, IMU, and battery functions is needed, consider using the M5GO Bottom2. The PCB accommodates connections for the CH910F chip and lithium battery.
The internal vibration motor may interfere with M5 Base series modules and should not be stacked with them to avoid damage.
For screens with touch nonlinearity at the edges, try upgrading the firmware using M5Tool.
Note, the device includes a non-replaceable battery.

USB Driver

Download the appropriate driver for your operating system using the link below. There are two versions of driver chips available; the CP34X driver package supports the CH9102 version. After decompressing, select the installation package that matches your OS bit version. If unsure which USB chip your device uses, installing both drivers is advisable. When installing CH9102_VCP_SER_MacOS v1.7, any error messages can be ignored as the installation completes successfully. If you experience programming issues (e.g., timeout or "Failed to write to target RAM"), you might need to reinstall the USB driver.

3. International Warehouse

Our products are stored in both our U.S. and Shenzhen warehouses to provide more flexible logistics solutions tailored to different regions and customer needs. On each product's description page, we indicate the specific warehouse location to help you better plan your purchase and delivery schedule.

3.1 U.S. Warehouse

For products stored in our warehouse in the U.S., we use either USPS or UPS for shipping, depending on the size of the package. Logistics within U.S. are very efficient, with an estimated delivery time of 3-7 business days, ensuring you receive your order quickly and conveniently.  

3.2 Chinese Warehouse

We will only arrange YunExpressexpress shipping from Shenzhen for orders with products in the Shenzhen warehouse worth more than €50. Orders directly shipped from our Shenzhen warehouse are handled by YunExpress. Given the complexities of international shipping, the estimated delivery time for these packages is around 10 business days, though this may vary slightly due to customs processes or other uncontrollable factors. Otherwise, the products will first be shipped from China to our U.S. warehouse and then shipped to the final destination. 

To ensure that your order is delivered within your desired timeframe, we recommend reviewing the warehouse information provided on the product pages before placing your order and selecting the appropriate shipping option. 4. Customs and Taxes

4.1 How are customs handled by OpenELAB for import or export?

For shipments delivered to customers in the United States, OpenELAB will clearly declare the value of the goods on the customs form in compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) requirements. Depending on the product value and origin, certain orders may be subject to import duties, taxes, or brokerage fees upon arrival, which are the responsibility of the recipient unless otherwise stated.
 We aim to minimize delays and ensure compliance, but OpenELAB does not guarantee exemption from U.S. customs charges.
  

4.2 Are U.S. sales taxes included when the Customer places an order?

OpenELAB collects U.S. state sales tax where legally required. The applicable rate depends on the shipping address and will be calculated at checkout.
 If no sales tax is charged at the time of purchase, you may still be responsible for use tax according to your state’s tax laws. OpenELAB is committed to complying with the U.S. Supreme Court's decision in South Dakota v. Wayfair, Inc. and applicable local regulations.
  

4.3 Are there any other fees besides tax?

Apart from sales tax, OpenELAB may charge shipping or handling fees, which will be clearly displayed before checkout.
 Please note that international shipments to the U.S. may occasionally incur customs clearance charges or carrier-imposed fees (e.g., by DHL, FedEx, or USPS). These charges are not controlled by OpenELAB and may vary based on the delivery carrier and U.S. import classification.

2. Warranty Policy

Warranty Period

The standard warranty period for products sold by OpenELAB is 12 months from the date of delivery.

Under this warranty, OpenELAB will make a reasonable effort to repair or replace products free of charge if defects are due to issues with raw materials, design, or manufacturing.

If the defect qualifies under this policy but falls outside the covered scope, reasonable charges may apply for repair or replacement.

After the warranty period, support may still be available at a reasonable fee.

  

Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not apply in the following cases:

  • The product is beyond the 12-month warranty period.
  • Damage due to misuse, improper maintenance or storage, or failure to follow the user guide or manual.
  • Issues caused by Force Majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, war, legal changes, etc.).
  • Unauthorized repair attempts by the customer.
  • The product is not defective but has been opened and is non-returnable by policy.

   

3. Returns & Refunds

If you're not satisfied with your purchase, you may be eligible for a return or exchange:

  • Return for Refund: Within 15 days of receipt (unopened).
  • Return for Replacement: Within 30 days of receipt (damaged or defective).
  • Exchange Window: Up to 30 days from receipt.

Return Conditions

  • Items must be in original, clean, and mint condition with packaging intact.
  • Returns of damaged, used, scratched, modified, or programmed items will not be accepted.
  • Include the receipt, a brief note with your name, order number, and reason for return.

  

Shipping & Fees

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping to our warehouses in the US.
  • If a return is requested due to customer reasons (e.g., change of mind, incorrect order, etc.), both the original shipping cost and the return shipping cost will be deducted from the refund amount.
  • For returns due to customer reasons, we will generate and provide a return shipping label. 

   

Payment Platform Fees

For all refunds requested due to customer reasons, a standard service fee will be deducted from the refund amount, which is charged by the payment platforms. The specific fees are as follows:

Shopify Payments: 2.9% + $ 0.3

PayPal: 4.4%
