The LD2411-S is an advanced motion and micro-motion human body induction ranging sensor module, part of the Hi-link radar series. This module integrates highly simplified 24 GHz radar sensor hardware with the intelligent algorithm firmware RM01, offering precise human detection capabilities. Designed primarily for single-target environments, the module intelligently identifies and tracks the target with the strongest echo energy in scenarios with multiple targets.
At its core, the LD2411-S hardware features a 24 GHz millimeter-wave radar chip, a high-performance microstrip antenna (one transmitter, one receiver), a cost-effective MCU, and essential peripheral circuits. The radar beam utilizes a flat beam design, providing a 20° detection range in the E-plane and a 45° detection range in the H-plane. This design allows users to strategically adjust module placement for optimal performance in various application scenarios.
The intelligent RM01 algorithm firmware employs FMCW waveform technology and advanced signal processing, proprietary to the S3 series chip. This enables accurate human ranging and sophisticated detection of both motion and micro-motion, making it highly versatile for a wide array of modern applications.

Configuring Parameters with Upper Computer Software
Adjusting the LD2411-S parameters is straightforward using the dedicated upper computer software:
Step 1: Connect the Device
- Launch the software. Click "Refresh" to update the serial port list.
- Select the correct serial port for your radar module and input the baud rate.
- Click "Connect Device." Upon successful connection, the button text will change to "Disconnect Device," and the radar module's firmware version will be displayed.
Step 2: Configure Parameters
- Click the "Parameter Configuration" button to open the settings interface.
- Modify parameter values as needed (refer to Chapter 5 of the Communication Protocol for definitions).
- Click "Set Parameter" to send updated settings to the module and return to the main interface.
Step 3: Start Real-time Data Acquisition
- Click the "Start" button on the main interface to begin receiving real-time data from the radar module.
- The software will display the detected target's distance and status, along with a 15-second distance curve.
Step 4: Stop Data Transmission
- Click the "Stop" button to halt data transmission between the radar module and the software.
- All test data can be reviewed in the "Log" folder within the software's directory.

We will only arrange YunExpressexpress shipping from Shenzhen for orders with products in the Shenzhen warehouse worth more than €50. Orders directly shipped from our Shenzhen warehouse are handled by YunExpress. Given the complexities of international shipping, the estimated delivery time for these packages is around 10 business days, though this may vary slightly due to customs processes or other uncontrollable factors. Otherwise, the products will first be shipped from China to our U.S. warehouse and then shipped to the final destination.
4. Customs and Taxes
4.1 How are customs handled by OpenELAB for import or export?
We aim to minimize delays and ensure compliance, but OpenELAB does not guarantee exemption from U.S. customs charges.
4.2 Are U.S. sales taxes included when the Customer places an order?
If no sales tax is charged at the time of purchase, you may still be responsible for use tax according to your state’s tax laws. OpenELAB is committed to complying with the U.S. Supreme Court's decision in South Dakota v. Wayfair, Inc. and applicable local regulations.

Warranty Period
The standard warranty period for products sold by OpenELAB is 12 months from the date of delivery.
Under this warranty, OpenELAB will make a reasonable effort to repair or replace products free of charge if defects are due to issues with raw materials, design, or manufacturing.
If the defect qualifies under this policy but falls outside the covered scope, reasonable charges may apply for repair or replacement.
After the warranty period, support may still be available at a reasonable fee.
Warranty Exclusions
The warranty does not apply in the following cases:
- The product is beyond the 12-month warranty period.
- Damage due to misuse, improper maintenance or storage, or failure to follow the user guide or manual.
- Issues caused by Force Majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, war, legal changes, etc.).
- Unauthorized repair attempts by the customer.
- The product is not defective but has been opened and is non-returnable by policy.
3. Returns & Refunds
If you're not satisfied with your purchase, you may be eligible for a return or exchange:
